Who We Are

“Promoting growth through creative
expression and community development.”

Willow Springs Creative Centre uses the gifts and skills of local professional and emerging artists, gardeners and facilitators, and works together with groups, organizations and communities to empower and enhance people’s lives.

community partners

Willow Springs Creative Centre works with community groups to facilitate custom arts, gardening and food-related programming. Some of the partners we love working with include the Food Security Research Network, Roots to Harvest, the March of Dimes, Options Northwest, Autism Ontario, Community Living Thunder Bay and many more. We are always interested in hearing from community groups, businesses and other institutions who want to work together to learn new skills, provide creative outlets and work to better our communities. We offer fee-for-service consulting, workshops, training, art/food and gardening programming, creative retreats, etc. Please contact us for details.

staff & volunteers

Willow Springs has a dedicated crew of talented staff who lead workshops, provide training, and do incredible work with our partners in the community. Check out our profiles here. We also have an amazing group of volunteers that enable us to further our reach. Find out how to get involved here. We partner with Lakehead University and Confederation College to provide placement opportunities for students in programs such as Recreation Therapy, Fine Arts & Social Work. Please have your Placement Coordinator contact us. Willow Springs is supported by fee-for-service work, our social purpose enterprises, grants and donations. We would like to thank the following sponsors for their current/past support: the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the Food Security Research Network, Ontario Power Generation, PARO Centre, Northwestern Ontario Innovation Centre.
